My pig guy has dogos. They are essentially a cross between a great dane and a pitbull. We lost one to a pig when it took a tusk to the neck. Honestly I would take a pit over one, at least for pigs. They seem to be better at fighting because they are lower to the ground.

Trust me a mountain lion would make mincemeat out of one or even two. I suspect the lion would avoid the fight but if cornered it would not pretty. A mountain lion is much stronger and has claws. It is not even close.

Doesn't look staged to me.... she acted out of character because she was protecting her cubs; plain and simple imho.

I don't either. We have a miles long walking path behind our house. I always carry because there are black bears and coyotes in the area. And....a mountain lion was caught on video about a mile and a half from our house.

You are silly to take a pit over a Dogo. Not in the same league, man. Dogo is much bigger, heavier, stronger, faster. The same drive/fearlessness/tolerance to pain, if not more. TWICE the bite force.

Dogos have been DOCUMENTED killing mountain lion / wolf. They take down boats, bulls, etc. on the regular.

That’s not to say that pits are not formidable dogs, they are. But you are talking Pacquiao (Pit) vs. Tyson (Dogo) in their prime. Lol

Here is a small glimpse at what these dogs were bred to do (if you got sensitive eyes, do not view):

Yep I don't think people know the power and size of these. Even a bobcat that is much smaller than a mountain lion could easily take out most dogs.

It would flee. They are sneak predators. They are also incredibly strong and can carry their prey, deer, etc, up trees to feed.

LOL I have experience hunting with dogs, numbnuts. I do not need to pull up a youtube video to form an opinion.

PS I am going back to TX to bait pigs next month, I will get some pics for you.

lmao. I know you have kiddo. Your innercity ass beats the chest about that any chance you get. I don’t need you to do it for me once again.

Your silly opinion is that of a chump that just happened to get invited or paid to do it.

Don’t try to act like you do that shit for a living now. Lmao.

Probably don’t even own a Dog. Here is my dog bro. Where is yours at?

Sadly a mountain lion ate mine. :( He went for a walk in the hills thinking he was invincible and never came back.

I remember reading about a mountain biker who was found mutilated by a mountain lion. They're not sure if he had a heart attack, or was jumped by the lion. You see, the lion ate his heart.

All that said, you're probably more likely to die at the hands of a Clinton than a mountain lion.

Fun story. Three weeks ago my buddy saw a large adult lion about a hundred yards from my house. No biggie, we know they're in the area. The next day I heard a loud gunshot. Turns out my neighbor was working on his house, nailing up some boards. The cat just sat and watched him. He went in and got his gun and fired a shot to scare it away. Kitty no scared.

Here's a cool website that shows tracked/tagged lions in the Santa Cruz Mtns. Looks like the males 5M, 70M, and 82M and female 24F, roamed in my area just west of Morgan Hill. Puma Tracker | Santa Cruz Puma Project

    SOONER!!!

And we'll try any food. Once. lol

Back to the topic, I think the only reason that cat attacked our dogs is because they cornered it. I would absolutely agree that UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES a mountain lion would run from a barking dog. This encounter is also not a normal circumstance. The adult was protecting her cubs. So the dog would do nothing more than delay her and let you get away. #RIP doggie.

I'm still amazed how far the cat followed/stalked him. Had he turned his back to the cat, guaranteed we'd be reading a whole different end to this story.
