Here in Kansas, it tota lay depends on what kind of winter we are having. Where we used to live, in suburban Overland Park, they laid way too much salt/sand down anytime there was a single snowflake in the air. We moved to a more rural, edge of KC area closest to lenexa, and last year they didn't put much down. We only had two real snowfalls. So I am hoping for little of the frozen stuff. Will see. If the roads are clear and dry, without much salt left over, I usually got it out for a 15 minute drive, cleaned it off and back into storage. I just do not like the idea of letting it sit for 3-4 months.
I went to trade my 2014 gt500 in recently and they were offering 28k to 33k for it with 30k miles. Its heavily modded and was in a previous fender bender from the original owner.
. After any snow, which launches the salt trucks, you have to wait for it to rain,...........hard. Then I'm good to go..
I will be honest and forthcoming. I bought a "used" 2014 in February with 7 miles on it. Still has the sticker and interior plastics. I paid 58k, with it was worth it to me for a mint car. Money is all relative though, and I imagine when I do sell this one, if ever, I will get a portion of the premium back. In the mean time, I get to roll around and enjoy a rare bird
Congrats! I think $58k, for a Track Pack, 6 yr old car with 7 miles you got a good deal. My base model new was $58k in Jan 2014.
Yep prices definitely went up. I used to see them low to mid 40s all day. Should’ve pulled trigger then Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not to switch this thread up but I'm curious to see what you guys think about of Biden actually wins, what affect will he have on the price/inflation of these cars. Buy now or wait? Sent from my SM-N960U using the svtperformance.com mobile app
Oh please, let's not go there. Some topics shouldn't interfere with our enjoyment of our Shelbys and autos as a whole. I understand you are asking an auto-related question, but it will end up political and ultimately a pissing match. Tom
